Thank you for visiting Enriched Education on the Farmstead Stories website! This page will one day serve as an educational resource for homeschooling. However, Joseph and I currently do not have any students for homeschooling at the Scarborough house! Instead, Enriched Education is a page where you can find simple living, life lessons, homesteading education, and more!
Though I had a wonderful experience in the public school system, I occasionally considered homeschooling children in the future. When Joseph and I met, I was amazed to learn that his Mama homeschooled all eight of her kids!
I have learned a lot through watching her with Joseph’s youngest siblings. I observed the difference in enriched education that Joseph has compared to my perspective from the average public school. Until I reach the point of homeschooling babies, I plan to share education about homesteading.
Lots of family and friends compliment me for speaking wisdom compared to most of my generation. Though I do seek to live up to those words, I am still learning! Sharing the things I learn as a wife and homemaker helps keep me accountable to you but also provides a resource for me to use while in the kitchen or working in the home!
I may be young but I still pull up my own recipes and use my website as a tool though I also write the content!
Simple living and the homesteading lifestyle is a learning process. There are many aspects to the homesteading lifestyle that do not come easy.
Whether you grew up on a farm or are completely new to farming, this page should be a good tool to use for learning. However, I mention in the Simple Living post that each person is responsible for defining a “simple life” in their own terms. There is no right or wrong way to define what lifestyle fits your family.
Thank you for investing time into enriched education and following Farmstead Stories!
